My son bought this out of his Christmas money and loved it, he is quite a sensible child and knows not to aim at people, especially the face although it is quite powerful I don't think it would do much damage but could make another child cry from the shock or start a tussle from the annoyance of being hit by one of the foam bullets. This product is smaller than expected but still a good size for a young child

My parents bought two of these for my 4 year old for his birthday, and we absolutely love it. I had to order another one so I could join in the fun! It is important that you look at the size of the toy though. It ended up being smaller than expected, but it is a great size to run around with in the back yard. My 2.5 year old, my 4 year old, and I play with this toy all the time. It does only come with 6 "arrows," and my kids lost 5 our of 12 on the first day. I ordered a pack of 30, and we love these!
