I like to tinker with small low voltage eletronics. I bought this I could boost 12v 2amp to a higher output then I was putting in. I was able to do this with this product. I provided 12v 2amp and I was able to see I was getting 67v 4.4amp on the other side. That's great. That makes this product a win.There are a few negatives like I saw others say that I agree with and feel like are worth mentioning... the build quality is just OK. The output voltage terminal was kind of bent. It didn't impact anything but it was noticable. I also noticed that the PCB labeling was poorly labled. It was tiny and crammed into various areas. I had to really study the product before I could figure out where input and output voltage was. The product also claims it can dish out 400watts but I never saw it do that.I only ever saw 67v 4.4amp maximum. I suppose if I had fed it more input voltage, I might have seen more of an output voltage similar to the 400watt claims. Even feeding it 24v 5AMP -- I still only ever saw 67v 4.4amp. For my usage, this product would work and be awesome and probably do what it claims to do. It was also pretty steady at keeping voltage consistent after dialing it in. I also never saw the amperage change either with the adjuster the way I had figured I would. When I'd lower the current, I would also see the voltage drop.I'd recommend this product because it's cost effective and it certainly boosted te voltage I was feeding it. I was happy to see an increase in amperage as well. This product would also certainly need to be covered in something to insultate it from the elements. It earned a place in my drawer of boosters, I'm considering buying another one.

ポタ電の12V出力からパナ製Let'sNote(16V仕様)を充電するため購入。出力電圧を付属アダプタと同じ16.3Vにあわせ、小さく仕上げたかったのでTAKACHIのALケース(YM-100)に収めました。基盤下にスペーサーを使うと高くなってしまうので1mm位の樹脂(絶縁できて、そこそこ耐熱であれば材質はなんでも可)を基盤と同じ大きさに切断し基盤の下に敷きビス留めします。そのとき写真のように、基盤上のヒートシンクの高さとケースの天板の高さが同じくらいになるようにします(天板との接触面に放熱テープを貼れば尚良)。ついでに以前購入してあった[サムコス デジタル電圧計電流計 3個セット]が余っていたので電圧・電流がモニターできるように取り付けました(写真は充電が完了して電流ゼロとなったところ)。ノートPCの充電量が空状態では4A前後流れ、ケース全体がほんのり暖まる程度です。ポタ電でインバーター(AC100V)を起動してノートPCの付属アダプタを使って充電するというのは効率的ではないので本製品で良い感じで使えてます。車の12Vでも使えますし、出力を19VにしてやればHP製ノートPCや電圧調整次第で他メーカーやDCアダプタ付の省電力デスクトップPCでも使えると思います。フルで400Wいけるか否かはわかりませんが、この程度の負荷であれば問題なく使えています。

First adjust the 24v high as it goes if you want to set the CC. Then open circuit adjust the CV. Always apply input and output breaker to your max currents if used for solar battery charger. Also a resistive load example 50v in with 50ohm load CC will always be 1 amp minimum (it did drop it to 0.9). The highest acheived voltage was only 66.7v, current outputs of 8A were acheived with 49.5Vin and gave 50.3v out for me totaling the 400w as it is rated. Use caution with the terminal connections due to small weak connectors, hold firm when using a tiny screwdriver or the normal small will fake it tight and the wires will eventually fall out.
