The basket was what I expected. But there are no installation instructions. One of the included washers was cut in half, so I had to find another one. Then the nuts only screw on to the very tips of the bolts (will not continue up the threads so that I can tighten down). Basically bolts/nuts included are useless, and forced to go buy more hardware to actually install the thing, unless I wanted to use only zip ties (which didn't feel secure enough to me). What should have been a simple install project turned into more trips to the store and a lot of frustration.

It’s a bit smaller than what we had expected but we got it onto the rack with some zip ties and it seems to be functioning well so far.

Very good quality product. Solid but lightweight. Comes with steel mounting plates, but I used just plastic ties instead. Fits perfectly behind the seat.

This basket is high quality and I do like the feature of how it is sloped off in the part that goes behind the bike seat so as not to interfere with either the seat, the rider's hind end, or removing the battery if, like mine, it’s located under the seat. One thing more, it's a very attractive black mesh, which on my black bike is far more attractive than ye ol’ milk crate.I find that the basket is very sturdy and well made, and the cargo net of course is essential for keeping everything secure. Depending on your type of bike and what your intended use of the bike is, I feel this would be a fine basket indeed and an overall good value.With that aspect in mind, I’m not sure for my personal use goals it’s something that works as well as I need it to work, or perhaps it doesn't give me the confidence I need that my items are really secure while riding , even with the net. You see, I have a “cargo” e-bike that is pretty much my car at this point considering well, I don’t have an actual car. Previously I had a good old fashioned milk crate zip tied to the back of the bike, and that worked just fine. I was able to put in a large stay-cold shopping bag, and secure it with bungee cords across the top. Although this bike basket comes with the cargo net, you see in the photos I provided that the same bag I used in the milk crate is not suitable for the basket because the sides of the basket do not obviously come up as high as the milk crate. {The basket per measurements on the web page has a height just over 7”, and the milk crate is just shy of 11”} so I feel that additional height would help when trying to carry several grocery bags, or a tall reusable shopping bag.If you are just using it for smaller items, books, etc., then I think it will be great. Just estimate what you’re going to be carrying and plan accordingly.
