I have used real leather as well as the Faux type and Honestly the cloth-backed and very flexible fake stuff works much better in my wood and epoxy projects. it's a good-quality faux leather, It is 3/4'' Wide by 72'' Long with 3 different colors, black and two shades of brown, and 3 different designs. being 1" wide makes it easy to cut to the width I need for my projects. When you use CA glue to attach real leather to wood it makes it stiff and soaks in changing the way it looks where the glue is. Using this Faux leather the the cloth backing seems to negate that issue making things look so much better

I have a collection of two-piece belt buckles from the 80's, including Mimi D'in, Talbots, etc. The old vinyl belt straps are either worn out, faded, or too small. I have looked in vain for replacements over the years, but usually come up short. These, along with some others I've ordered from Amazon are a fair replacement. I really need them a hair wider (1&1/2 inch or 1 &3/4), but so far, no luck. These do ok in a pinch, though. If you have buckles without a match, give these a shot.

These three different colored and patterned faux leather strapping pieces are 1 inch wide by approximately 72 inches long ( I did not measure but it appears to be 72 inches). They will make an excellent use and function in various crafting projects. It appears to be too thin to make a belt with, unless perhaps two of them were sewn or glued together (which I don't think would make the best belt, but maybe a woman's decorative one). They might work to be used as a watch strap, although they might be slightly on the thin side and my concern would be the wear and/or deterioration over time. I got them for the purpose of making a few watch straps. However, the thickness does vary. It does have good quality design patterning which is quite nice.I can think of many other crafting uses where this faux leather would work nicely. Straps or handles or shorter things which aren't too heavy. The would make a nice knife or small object sleeve or pouch which could easily attach to a belt. So, there are many uses for the faux leather which could serve many imaginative ideas or purposes. As noted above, the thickness varies quite a bit.... I took a handful of measurements with some digital calipers (not included) and it varied mostly I think due to where the measurements were taken because of the patterned design on the one side. In the test measurements taken, it ranges from 1.50 mm to 1.75 mm. This is a good thickness for use in the "scan-n-cut" type crafting machines if done with the correct cutting blade.Overall, this is good faux leather for use in lots of crafting projects and appears to be of a good quality. All three pieces have good color and nice patterns. It has a cloth backing which should work well with fabric glue, and/or can be sewn. I would recommend this product.

We used the strips as accents on furniture we made for our bus conversion. It was easy to work with and has a nice feel to it.

Nice variety of colors, very thick and realistic looking. Now sure which craft project I will be using it on yet.
