My husband puts in his work day walking and standing on the highway doing highway maintenance all day long. These boots meet the needed safety standard using the composite that is so much lighter in weight than the steel toe which is much heavier. He said they make his feet feel so much better than other boots that he has tried. we usually buy through the try before you pay option. We do that because sometimes manufacturers change the way they make things. I want to make sure he’s going to be comfortable in them before I pay out the cost, and so far he’s noticed no changes in the sizing.

I love these boots for work! They look just like my blundstones. Very comfortable but they do get pretty warm. Will have to find something lighter for the summer!

I so wanted this boot to fit my husband .... He did manage to get his foot in 10.5 Extra Wide. The problem is my husband has a very high instep (arch) and is flat footed. So it was struggle to get his foot down into the boot. He said the bottom of his feet felt good in them. But the pressure on the top of his foot (arch area) was too much .. and didnn't want to wait to see if they would stretch out. He has a very high- more than normal instep. Really love the look of the boot and it really seemed nicely made. We are going to shop for a lace boot in hopes this resolves his probem of slipping them on. I would definitely recommend these boots for anyone with flat feet/ wide feet.
