I ended up getting two sizes too big but that was my fault. I'll just have to order another because the quality of this jacket seems to be very good. My son loves it!

My son is 10 years old and 85lb. He normally wears a 10/12 and I ordered the size 13. It's roomy and he can wear it again next year. My son likes this jacket. He doesn't like big puffy coats. He's warm natured and gets hot easily so this jacket is perfect for him. He says it's comfortable to play in.. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because he gets muddy and plays in the woods. He wears it to school and also wears it fishing with his dad on chilly days. Great value.

This coat has lasted us through one spring and now fall. It's pretty thick, so it's not ideal as a raincoat in warm or hot weather. However, for those chilly spring and autumn days, or warmer winter days, this is a perfect coat. It is waterproof, so it served us well during soccer games over the past month or two. It's been very durable. He scuffed up the back a little by laying on pavement, but when he was stuck on a thorny rose bush branch, the jacket wasn't damaged at all. And that's after his brother yanked on the coat while we yelled, "Nooooooooooooooooooo!" as we tried to get there before the little brat--er brother--reached him. The hood does a good job of staying put with the velcro closure. It doesn't tighten, but it doesn't really need to because the chin guard anchors it to the lower face. I do wish the collar and the chin guard attached to each other so that a cold breeze can't sneak in between and chill his neck. But, he's used the pockets to store gloves, acorns, and rocks. The blue/red combo is very appealing and looks high end. The length is also perfect. We bought size 9/10 for a 7-year-old, and it's just right in sleeve length, torso length, sleeves, width, etc. I already plan to pass it down to his younger brother when he outgrows it. Great coat!

Great jacket but small. I have an 8 year old and I ordered 9-10 year old and it’s too small. Size up and you’ll love it.
