This worked fine for removing the fan on a 2009 Ford E250 with a 4.6 L two valve motor. The holding tool fit over the bolt heads and the clutch removal tool had a snug fit on the fan nut.

My gmc envoy this worked great.No issues at all . If things don't budge use some heat. Don't beat it to death with a hammer that's gow these things break .

I bought this set to replace the fan clutch on a 2004 Explorer 4.6L. I have replaced it once before years ago and it took a lot of thinking, maneuvering and time to get it off and then tighten the new one down. This set made it so much easier that I had the job done in just a half an hour, as opposed to the two and a half hours it took the first time. Well worth the money.

It worked like a charm, been struggling and the autoparts store had a flimsy 100 dollar rental that was sure to bend. With this I unbolted two bolts screwd this thing on then warmed up the clutch nut with a walmart torch and one slap later the fan unscrewed! So much easier and the wrench didn't warp like I was worried about. Recommended.
