These fit my daughter as expected. Easy on easy off. The canvas material took a bit of getting used to. They seem to be a decent quality.

I know very little about dancewear. I don't know what makes dance shoes good quality. But I can say that: they fit, they're comfortable, my five-year-old loves them, and they stand up to his roughing around before class. They work well and they are what he needed. I am pleased with them and think they will be easier to clean than the faux leather ones I got him previously.

My little sister once found my old ballet slippers and had the time of her life wearing them until they wore out and were too small. Now, we've gotten her a pair of her own that she loves as well! They're not as high quality as my slippers were—they're a rough canvas instead of a smooth faux leather that completely encases your feet. But since my sister's not taking lessons or doing anything other than playing around, they'll do just fine!

The ballet shoes are too thin and flimsy. There is not enough coverage and cushion at the bottom part of the shoe. It is not flexible enough to fit a smaller foot so if your feet are smaller in soze, these shoes will be loose.

While I like these canvas ballet slippers, unfortunately the fit is too wide for me. The length measurement is good, I probably could have gone down 1 size for tights, but with socks, they are perfect. The size guide provided is pretty accurate and helpful. The drawstring tie is elastic. I was hoping for a cotton lace drawstring instead and perhaps I could have gotten them a bit tighter to compensate for the width. Nevertheless they will work for my warmups in the home. I just cannot give them 4 stars due to fit. They may be perfect for others. They are certainly a great bargain, so for that I can give 3.5 stars (except it's not possible to add the 1/2 star).
