(Purchased additional sets of bands in RED and BLUE) I'm hosting a Crazy Olympics party soon with silly games for my guests to compete. I wanted to get my guests into teams and thought pulling different colored wristbands out of a sack would be a random way to choose and to keep couples from being on the same team...if you choose the same color, try again. I'm also going to use this at school to get students into groups in a way that doesn't cause classroom chaos. Not sure why I didn't think of that before! They are pretty simple...just silicone in a ring, but it has good stretch and I expect that it will have a good lifespan if not abused. I can see a lot of uses for these.

Needed to hide a logo on a free Yeti Rambler, not only did they hid the logo but the added grip was great as well.

I found a unique answer to a common problem ... how to identify sports bottles from one another. Youngest cannot keep up with his sports drink at games or practice. Our personalized bottles are more likely to get left behind than find their way back into his gear bag (we are working on it). Usually, 3/4 of the team are chugging the same blue sports drink and no one can keep up with which one is whose. Personalized sports bands are cool, but pricey and are just as apt to be tossed with the empty bottle as not. SO ... we had some of those freebie handout bands laying around ... the boys love to pick them up at events but can never wear them on their non-adult wrists. On a hunch, I turned one inside out and slide it over a small, kid-sized drink bottle and it stayed in place perfectly! A quick go with a Sharpie to write his name on the band, and it's perfect. He has even carried them home with him a few times! We quickly ran out of the freebies, felt fortunate to find these in an attention-grabbing color as a Vine offering ... and they work just fine. Mom-One. Germs - Zero. Good quality silicone if you are interested in using them for their intended purpose.Update: Surprisingly, permanent ink does not hold on these bands. Every third or fourth wear, I have to re-ink the name. I was determined however ... until Oldest remarked they are the ONLY kids with a marker of any kind, so their bottles were distinguishable ... even without their name. Perfect. Retiring the Sharpie.
