This is not a functional riviting hammer even for small jewelry making, it is a decorative toy.

I used this hammer on a piece of copper sheeting and it's dark coating immediately began to chip off immediately.

Love this hammer. Was pleasantly surprised by how small it is, which is great because I am working with small items to rivet. It is lightweight and appears to be good quality. Have not used it enough or for a period of time to state how well it will hold up long-term, but at this point, it's a great addition to my tools and I am very pleased with the product and the prompt delivery by Amazon.

This is a nice little hammer for hammering tiny brad nails. I have also found it useful when adding or removing links in my watch band. I used it to tap the pins that hold the links together back in. Its designed for gentle tapping.
