Eu já tinha o modelo anterior, mas quebrou (durou mais de 8 anos). Esse modelo além de manter todas as características do modelo anterior, ainda é mais seguro com o modelo novo de protetor para as mãos. Para mim o fato de poder controlar a espessura do corte é fundamental!

I have a very expensive fancy mandoline that came with multiple attachments and slices and juliennes in endless combinations. Trouble is, it was too much bother to get out most of the time. This little thing does most of what I need with minimal fuss. It's small enough to sit in a drawer, quickly accessible when I want to use it. If I had a bit more wall space, I'd use the hole in the handle and hang it right by my cutting board.The blade is sharp, but locks away when not in use. The attached food holder works well to keep fingers safe. The hole in the middle is too small to be of much use, but it's not really necessary. I frequently use the mandoline to cut cucumbers and radishes paper thin for salads and it also workes perfectly for thin slicing onions. I can prep a whole pan full of onions for caramelizing in no time at all. Best of all, it can go right in the dishwasher to be ready for next time.The fancy mandoline is now packed up, ready to be donated to a foodie friends. This one is just fine for me.

Slicer is adequate but the number 1 cut position didn’t Alice as thin as I would have liked. Was thinking more paper thin and it have a thicker cut. Other then that the functionality was pretty good.

Works really well. Easy to use, easy to clean, saves tons of time on slicing and dicing. And a great price.

Excelente producto, funciona súper bien, tiene muy buen filo y es muy práctico, solo se debe tener cuidado de usar siempre el protector para los dedos para evitar cortarse, y no dejarlo nunca al alcance de los niños!!!

Love using a hand slicer as they make slicing quick and uniform. Like this one as it offers a level of protection against sliced fingers. I forget to use the cut proof glove with my other slicer and get cut too often. CR rated this one high as well.
