If you love to hike and want to make it a family excursion with your toddler in tow, then this Osprey Poco carrier is for you. It has all the features that you may need, and then some. It's quite comfortable to wear, and it's very sturdy. The padding provides comfort, and the torso adjustability allows either me or my husband to use it with ease. We have taken turns wearing this for hours, and the sweating is very minimal due to the breathable feature in its fabric. I also love the sun shade which is a must to protect your child's skin during any outdoor activity.

The design on these products have significantly improved from my last purchase. As a female, the hip pads were often too small to provide any real comfort. However, the width of these hip pads work well. I am able to carry both my 36 and 25 kiddos around with ease.

Absolutly an amazing product. Extremly high quality and very comfortable. Im 6'3" and 250 pounds and I think i could wear it all day. Seems to be very comfortable with the kiddo as well.

TLDR: This carrier, the "poco", is a good carrier but we prefer the "poco slt" because it is smaller and lighter. I also find the "poco slt" to be more comfortable to wear.The "poco" seems unnecessarily big, and if you are a short person it will feel gigantic to wear. Yes there is more robust padding on it but the SLT is more comfortable to me.This carrier has plenty of adjustments for both the wearer and the child. The shoulder straps can be adjusted up or down to fit different torso lengths and is super easy to adjust. The seat for the baby can also be adjusted up or down to adjust for the height of your child. there are little stirrups loops where your child can rest their feet. That's a nice bonus that the SLT doesn't have. There is lots of storage space on the bottom and one benefit of the poco over the poco slt is that the bottom legs can be folded, which collapses the storage compartment to provide a slightly more streamlined carrier. The legs fold into the storage compartment so you can't fill the compartment AND fold the legs. The hip belt effectively transfers weight to your hips and the straps and hip belt are both well padded. The strap system to hold the child is very easy to use and is not ridiculous like most car seat. That is a giant plus for us.Overall, this is a great carrier but it's just a little too bulky for us and we much prefer the POCO SLT.
