The planter on this is plastic and it looks very nice and the “dirt” looks good and the trunks of the plant look good. The colors of the leaves look very realistic. The description says that the stems have wires, but I’ve had many artificial plants before that you could actually adjust the leaves and this does not feel at all like it has wires in it. The leaves absolutely do not have wires so it’s still not looking as real as the pictures they portray in the advertisement. I can’t get the leaves on the fiddle fig to lay flat, they’re stuck in an upward position and that is disappointing. I’m not totally happy with it.

I love real plants but our house is not light friendly so I have spent a significant amount of time looking at artificial plants. Some are really well done and some are not. This one falls in the middle. It's not bad when taking it into account alone. However when you look at it compared to other options at this price point it fails in a number of areas. For comparison I recently ordered another plant the same size at the same price point and it was 10x better than this one.This plant has very fake looking branches. They are clearly plastic even from a distance. There is no wiring in the leaves to help shape them. When it first arrived all of the leaves stood straight up which is not how a fiddle leaf grows. I gave it some time to warm up and let gravity work and that certainly helped. However the lack of wiring continues to keep it from what it should be at this price point. Several of the leaves are stuck in the direction they were packed in. My other plant I could shape each leaf all the way to the tip.I didn't love the plastic containers on either one (all of the Amazon ones come with oversized cheap plastic ones) so I always swap them for something that looks better once I see how the plant actually looks and what the appropriate size is for it. Overall it's isn't the worst one I have seen. Some went straight in the trash. This one will probably get hidden behind something. I ordered this based on positive reviews for the larger size of this, but unfortunately I did not have the same experience.
