My oem pcv which is an older revision seemed fine. I took it apart and checked the rubber valve and it was good and when I blew on the intake side it didn’t let any air through but once I drove the car and got the new one I replaced it and the oem once warm was letting some air flow. New one seems like good quality the gasket on it feels nice. Car runs with it and bolts up and fits perfectly. Time will tell if it’s actually good but if this helps with my oil consumption then that’s awesome and I’ll buy a new one later but I’d rather spent 30 dollars to see IF it fixes my problem rather then possibly waste like 140 for something that might not help. Will update if any issues arise.Update. Lasted 6k miles and started to fail. Began to leak oil into my intake and in turn caused me to loose oil. Still option to buy instead of spending over 100 for a POSSIBLE fix. I ended up buying one from ECS tuning for like 110 sense this confirmed my oil consumption issue.

One of The hose's did not fit, but it's oky I used the old one .I've noticed the smoke reduced to 95% if not completely!I flushed the engine new liqui moly 5w40 new filter, new sparks and ignition wow my 2016 q3 runs and way better and smoother. Am monitoring the oil consumption so far 1000km no consumption at all. Let's hope it continue 🙏Update 4th -MayOil Separater decided to give up 3 weeks after my mechanicinstalled it ! Not working .back to where I start .I'll have to buy the orignal .

It fixes cold start and oil leak for my Q3. Very good product for the price.
