My first set I installed in a Les Paul copy. And they sound great! These mini humbuckers went into an IYV Hoffner style bass that I converted into a Barritone guitar. It kicks azz now.

Based on the pricing I was was skeptical about the quality & sound of these pickups. When they arrived I was surprised by the weight of each pickup…they were heavy! That’s a good sign in my book.Anyway installed these in my vintage 1972 Gibson SG and they sound fantastic. How they can sell a pair of pickups that sound good for such a low price point is beyond me. I purchased the “vintage” version with wrapped ground wiring.

I’m not even sure how they can make a nickel baseplate minihumbucker this cheap! Price is the only thing cheap about them, adjustable poles and nickel baseplates ensure you can wring all the tone out of this little pick up. Only reason I didn’t give 4 stars…would love them to be 4 conductor so they could be split.
