I had great plans for this: to seal boxes and envelopes of sensitive stuff and papers and have a log of dates and numbers. It's the sort of thing you do after you've already organised all your screws, placed your CDs alphabetically and made sure the lawn mower lines are straight. No? Perhaps it's me!The labels stick very well to envelopes and peel to reveal OPEN-VOID if you try and peel it off however cunningly ou try to do it.But the labels don't stick to Amazon cardboard boxes very well which is a pity because I have a loft full of those (arranged by surface area, of course). I can peel the label off these without leaving a mark even after pressing and rubbing and waiting 24 hrs.My workround is to use parcel tape and apply the security label to that for a better contact, but really, because these are labeled and only a few inches long you need several on each box to cover all angles on attack. So in future I'll buy a roll of security tape with the 'void' continuously and not a roll of security labels. And then write a number on them. My handwriting is so bad that it's almost auto-encryption anyway!(It also works well on anything that gets in the way and is impossible to remove, so handle with care. I have the word 'VOID" on my reading glasses which isn't flattering).

Worked great for a short trip across the country moving confidential files. The serial numbers were an added bonus when confirming the seals were still intact when they arrived on the other end. The tape was also very sticky and when pulled up left clear signs of tampering. I will buy again for my business.

I really like using this for sending out important billing items and mail that I don’t want tampered with. Because someone has tampered with my mail ever since moving to new place. Good durable tape. Sticks well. Most importantly, tears cleanly. No scissors needed. Seems to survive some UV.

tl;dr: great tape overall and withstands basic tamper tape bypasses, but doesn't work on equipment cases like those from PelicanI've used (and bypassed) a *lot* of tamper tape over the years (security consultant) and it's been a while since I found one that actually takes any effort without buying in bulk.Is this tape undefeatable? Nope. Is it going to withstand the basic attacks that are more likely to occur such as freezing? Yes. No tamper tape is undefeatable, but it can at least raise the bar for the level of attacker. Most importantly is the serialization. This is a bargain for getting serialized tape that's actually worth a damn, whereas I previously had to get minimum orders from a specialty provider. The tri-colour is something I don't see as often, but it works well here. Even tiny pieces are pretty easy to identify when it's been moved. In single or dual colour I've often been able to paint back in broken sections as part of a bypass, but it's more difficult to mix the colour right here. You would think with a black body it would be easier to conceal, but the colours peeling from the thin film actually have made things stand out a bit more.Right now my big gripe with this tape is it does *NOT* work on Pelican cases (and I would assume any similar situation). We liked to use this kind of stuff on equipment cases, but so far it's come right off without a trace. Now none of these cases are pristine surfaces, but that does reduce the value of this tape for a lot of use cases.Additionally it could benefit from some diagonal lines. The tape has the text spread out a fair bit, but there are some places where if someone doesn't center it on a seam it may be vulnerable to the slice&cover. Careful placement prevents this, but lines on the tape would make the entire possibility moot.
