As an industrial electrician, I am always having to lock out machinery when I am working on it to prevent serious injury or death. These lockout hasps are perfect for this. The lockout hasps arrived as a package of 6.They are made out of aluminum which is spark and shockproof. The jaws of these are about 1 inch in diameter which is suitable for almost any application. The handle of the lockout hasp is nylon. What makes these lockout hasps different is that the handles have 6 holes in them and you can put up to 6 locks in one lockout hasp. This allows multiple people to lock out the machine or device until everyone has completed the work and it is safe to turn on. This is perfect when multiple people are working on one machine. It is not until everyone removes their lock that the machine can be powered back on.I am very happy with this set and will be using them at my workplace to add an extra layer of safety since there are often several people working on one machine. The price is reasonable and I do recommend these.

Pretty basic, two piece lock out pads. The closing loop is a good size for most applications, but the overall build quality is not really that great. They are flimsy, catch on opposing sides where the rubberized coating is on some hasps that the riveted hinge is too loose. They will do the job for a visible lockout for areas like Type31 battery kill switches, etc, but could be very easy to break free if someone felt the need to.A lockout/"do not operate" tag would work just as well at a much lower cost.

These are great. Very strong, and easy to use. They open and close easily; you just need to make sure you have a lock that fits into the holes as the left and right sides come together. One of my locks was too big, but a regular combination lock worked great.
