I got these to go with another dish set that had many broken 7" plates. Got the gray which go with the greenish/bluish/grayish dishes even though other set has a pattern. I might even order more.

These are excellent plates. While one chipped almost immediately, we haven’t had any other issues. They are pretty durable overall and good family dishes for every day use.

After unpacking my new purchase, I put all 12 plates in the dishwasher to make sure they were clean before useing. When I removed them, 1 of them had the finish chipped off where the plate touched the dishwasher. None of the plates touched each other. I've never had this experience before with any plate. I'd return them, but I no longer have the packing material. What a dissappointment.
