These were exactly as depicted and worked well for the application but I had to transfer them to another container because there were religious quotes on the box hidden under the flap.

Well the were the most cost effective screws out there. Of these screws. About 1 in 5 are bent and unusable. The self tapping cut that on the tip is missing on most of them. I did manage to find enough usable ones out of the 130 I preferred to finish my job.On the bright side the color matched my trek decking. The star bit works great too.

I'm giving these screws two stars as the color was good and they appear to be sturdy. First, they aren't very sharp to actually dig into the surface. But by far the biggest issue was even with a small pre-drilled hole they did not consistently fully sink into the surface completely. And when I went to remove the screw that stopped boring in, it would not come out.I learned this the smart way by doing some testing on a scrap. The trex split about an inch from the end using just one of these screws. So I pre-drilled a hole, and sent a screw in. I did this three times, one of them stopped boring in...I then could not remove the screw by reversing the driver. This would have been a HUGE issue if this was a 16' piece of trex that has a screw in limbo. I suspect there are better fish in the trex screw sea. As for me, I'm countersinking SS standard trim screws for this job. The tests went well, there is very minor dimpling with a countersunk hole.
