I don't know what the size numbers of these needles refer to. They are neither the standard metric or US sizes. In any case, I bought them because you get a bunch of them for a good price, and I'm an experienced enough knitter to be able to eyeball the right size to get the gauge that I want. The quality of the needles is good, and they function well.

These are the best knitting needles I've ever had, sizes aren't marked on packages but they are very sturdy and easy to use

I was not expecting these to be such high quality for the price! No catches or bumps at the joins. They have become my go to needles. I will likely never use some of the tiny sizes but I have used several of the larger sizes. My only issue is the gauge they are marked in - I had to go through them all, convert them to size in mm and relabel them.
