I recently installed the Electric Engine Water Pump & Thermostat for my BMW E90, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The fitment was perfect, making the installation process smooth and hassle-free. The quality of the materials feels durable and reliable, comparable to OEM parts, but at a much more reasonable price. Since the installation, my car's cooling system has been functioning flawlessly, with no overheating issues or warning lights. The electric water pump is a good way for BMW to have a way to quick-change (unless your Beamer blocks it in somehow with some accessory equipment) water pump right handy and ready to swap-out. I think the way these high-strung vehicles treat water pumps it's so much better with this design than mechanically driven, and when there are 2 of them (1 mech, 1 electric) it's always the electric one that goes out first - I think its smaller passages collect the lumps in the coolant. LOL. But this is a good replacement and has dropped our temps 15 degrees from peak so far, and I'm pleased with it.
