These are perfect for putting up the arching rafters of a grape arbor in my garden, forming a shaded walkway with an A-frame peak, with garden paths emerging from between the posts. I set the posts last fall and transplanted the baby grape vines but never got around to putting up the cross beams and rafters. These hangers made it easy and they look great. They made it way easier to put up the rafters by myself. Now the grapes have something to grow on!

These are very sturdy ties. The 13 gauge is noticeably thicker and more rigid than the 18 gauge ones that are more common. I wanted to get these because I live in a hurricane zone and I want this covered space that I'm building to be as sturdy as possible. I think these are definitely up to the task.

These are quality hurricane ties for structural support. Mine are not going to be visible, but if you were doing a pergola or something that was open, the black color should look much nicer than your standard metal look.

My husband needed these for a project he was working on. He was really impressed by the quality of them and the black powder coating. They were the perfect fit, and added the security to the roof joists that he needed. Great product
