I have six of these Lenox high tension hacksaws divided between two work locations. I have different tooth size blades in each so I don't have to switch blades for different work thicknesses.I prefer the old all gray saw frame of the past. I ordered what is in the photo of the product (as of 7-27-19 the photo is of the all gray older saw model). I was sent the new style saw which is white and blue. I paid more to get the older saw. The newer saw as of this date can be had for $13 less than I paid here. I now have two of the white and blue saws because it is all I can find. Both saws were defective in that one would not adjust to the point I could get the blade off the pins of the saw and the other saw has this very pronounced scraping sensation while tensioning the blade, well before the blade is taut enough. The new style saw is also noticeably heavier than my older saws and more bulky. The rubberized blue grip surfaces are a welcome addition and I think they will hold up. I have other tools with similar "rubber" like material that I use daily at work all day long and they have held up flawlessly on a large number of hand tools. My old style Lenox saws I have added grip tape to the handles. So hopefully the sellers of this recent version of the Lenox saw will update the photo of their saw. If not be ware what you see is not what you will get.A couple of facts : If you can't get the blade out of the saw (a common prob I have read about in the reviews of the new saw) it is partly due to the holes in the new blades being 1.3mm closer together ( the old blades from years ago fit better). If you are handy you can press the large pivot pin out of the moving blade tensioner component, file a millimeter of thickness off the part where it hits inside the handle and reassemble. The scraping, which may have been an isolated anomaly of my saw can be fixed by reaming the hole slightly larger, I have tools for this). Otherwise apply a gob of heavy grease and don't worry about it. The saw works fine in any case once "tuned up".A final thought : 12 turns might be a little optimistic; some have actually ripped the blade holder pins out of the saw frame from carelessness or over tensioning. I think eight turns is plenty as the old saw has stamped right on the frame of the saw.Good luck.
