I’m a big fan of Philips Hue products for building a smart home. While they can be expensive, they just work so well and integrate seamlessly. I bought two of these Wall Tap Dial Light Switches for our guest rooms to easily control multiple lamps at once, and they’ve been fantastic. The dial is super convenient for adjusting the lighting, and it makes the space feel more functional and streamlined. The only downside is the price—it’s a bit on the higher side—but for the quality and ease of use, it’s definitely worth it.

I love all philips hue products in general. This switch is a great option for my system and I like pre-setting the light modes.

Works ok for the price. But I prefer a better quality bms for my larger systems.

Remote works fine, but the dimmer dial can only be mapped to one profile (out of the four button profiles).Other than the limitation above, my other complaint is on Amazon. The item I received appears to have been opened or used before. The box's round sticker seal was dog-eared and unstuck, and the box cover lid was partially torn. There was a strand of hair between the remote and it's magnetic plating. All tell-tale signs that this was a product someone had used or had at least opened up and handled.

The point of having smart lights is to be able to control them from your phones among other things you can do (automation, etc).So why have a physical control? That's because this Tap Dial can do much more then simply a button/switch. The dial for instance allows fine adjustment of brightness conveniently! And of course for the elderly who find controlling via the phone a hassle.

I tried 1 BMS first and It works good, no smoking. But I don't think it can handle 100A. More test needs to bedone. Anyway, it's cheap ,as long as it won't burn my house. LOL. I bought 2 BMS as with my experience it may notlast long. Just wait and see.

I tested this on my bench power supply. Current limit set to 10 mA, then slowly increased the voltage until clamping occurred. 3.58v was the cutoff for each cell "channel." It was surprising that it was exactly the same across each channel. Make sure 3.58v per cell is acceptable for your battery pack. The balancer does a weird pulsing thing. It pulls a small amount of current for a second, then stops and allows the voltage to go open circuit, then repeats. I'm not sure why this happens, or if it's by design, but it's something interesting to note.I did not test the main power disconnect side of the balancer. It appears fairly robust with a number of MOSFETs. The 100 amp rated connections are solder points on the opposite side of the board.

This is what you need if your building your own lifepo4 packs. It works flawlessly. I bought two of them(one for each pack). They are protecting my new 4s20p packs and the balancing function is great. Will buy these again in the near future to build four more packs like this.
