I struggled to get this to pair on my Pixel. Finally I discovered that after you select the Wifi network of the device and connect, the Android OS has a notification that you must confirm the connection (despite not having internet access). If you don't click and confirm your phone won't actually connect and you won't be able to complete the pairing process. Hope this helps someone! After that, everything worked seemlessly for me. Awesome that I can add some smarts to my older garage door opener for not much cost.

This performed exactly as advertised, paired with my WIFI through the eWeLink app. It is now the switch to activate my garage door opener through my Echo devices. I am very satisfied with this purchase at this point, only time will tell about longevity. I would recommend this product others that are "tech savvy".

. . . and, has various other uses as well. This Alexa compatible, simple to use module is easy to implement. The only wires you need to mess with are the two wires that run from your garage door opener to this module's relay terminal. Power is provided by a micro USB cable that runs to a phone charger, or your own 5vdc power source. Discovering this module and configuring it was easy with the eWeLink app. The included, very tiny manual, explains what steps to follow. I had it discovered and completely configured in less than 10 minutes. I've attached page by page scans of the manual for those who say theirs didn't come with one.

This relay is probably a good unit however it is set up for use with eWeLink. What I have noticed since around 2018 is that there is a high probability that your wifi network is not of the perfect configuration that Ewelink expects in order to connect. This relay is no exception, as I have tried all of the tricks, use configuration mode, disable the 5GHZ band on the router, tried connecting to different AP extenders around the house, tried making guest networks with simple or no password, and on and on without the connection completing. I did take this relay to work and tried it there and it connected first try no problem so I know that the software expects a very specific network configuration and phone setup to complete the connection. So if you think your time isn't worth much, have at it. Use gadgets that are flashed to operate with Tuya / Smart Life Apps as they seem to be able to detect and deal with all of the nuances of different wifi networks that Ewelinks simply fails at.

Disconnects from the Wi-Fi all the time, died after one day. It was very easy to install
