I got this mostly to put in the bottom of my sink to catch large chunks of whatever when I wash dishes. I haven't had a dishwasher for many years, so I thought I'd try this. The holes, of course, are large enough to let lots of stuff through, but it does make it easier to do cleanup since anything that doesn't escape easily goes into my compost, and the stuff that does get though stays in the bottom of the sink instead of clogging the sieve at the bottom of the sink.I will say that I appreciate having the soft surface on the bottom of the sink, as it really acts to protect glasses, plates, or dishes from getting broken.So, it's a nice product, but one that I could live without. That said, I'm happy to have it.

These silicone protectors are very simple and get the job done. Definitely worth the asking price of $14.44 (when reviewed).Positives:-Can take the heat up to 500 degrees.-Little raised feet across the entire mat keeps water and debris from being trapped below the mat.-Easily storable, just roll up and place in a drawer.-Thanks to being silicone and the little feet, this stays in place.-Can help protect your sink from dropped dishes.-Provides some heat protection to counter tops.-Easy to put in the dishwasher to disinfect, just roll it up and stick on the top shelf.Considerations:-Whilst these are usable up to 500 degrees, you would *not* want to use these as a trivet, as, well, all the holes will let the heat go right through to your countertop!Negatives:-As of now, none!This review is for "Enegg 2pcs Silicone Sink Protector Grid Heat-Resistant Sink Liner Mat Anti-Slip Reusable for Bottom of Kitchen Farmhouse Table Mat Dining Protector Drying Kitchen Counter"

I like the mats. They look nice in my sink. They are not too thick and they have the little pieces to lift it off the sink itself. It protects the sink and the dishes.
