These hooks are a little heavy, but excellent quality. I know that can be use for dogs or as key chain, but I wouldn't recommend it. The hook as I said is a little heavy and is too big for a dog. I had it on my husky mix dog and I notice that when she was running, it keep hitting her, so I removed it to avoid she get hurts. As for a key chain, DO NOT USE IT FOR YOUR CAR'S KEYS. It will damage the ignition or break the key because of the hook's weight. I recommend it for any other use, as long as it doesn't go beyond the weight capacity.

I needed a heavy duty hook to attach to the back of my riding mower so I could pull a garden wagon across my fields. Well this hook did the trick and more. The hook is perfect for the job because it swivels as I turn the mower. Plus it is very thick strong metal, well made and it works like a charm.

I got these to make a custom "seat belt" leash for my dog. The quality is very high and I have no doubt that they will hold the weight noted. The swivels are smooth and don't bind despite the hook's size. Speaking of size, the pictures are accurate and these are larger hooks; I didn't pay attention so I got a bit of a surprise. The unexpected size didn't impact my purposed use though.Definitely recommend.

I have two big outdoor hanging planters filled with ferns. I have been searching for nice-looking large heavy-duty black swivel hooks, so I could turn the baskets to even out the growth of the ferns. Well, my search is over because these hooks I requested to review are just what I've been looking for.What I like about these hooks:1) Super heavy duty.2) Aesthetically pleasing to look at.3) Black in color.4) Large eye and hook openings5) They swivel.What I didn't like:1) The packaging was very excessive and wasteful.
