Exactly as expected. However, it would have been so much better if could have seen the product up close before purchase. Size 2 is actually too small for the pearls I had, forcing me to make a more difficult type of knot. I had tried size 4 previously, and it was a too large. Obviously size 3 would have been the right choice. While trial-and-error is a learning tool, shipping costs and time delay associated with it affect productivity.

Bought this to restring my grandmother's antique pearl necklace. It did not disappoint. The needle that comes with it was very firmly attached to the thread. The drill holes of the pearls are very very small, so all my bead stringing needles are too big to pass through. Thanks to the thin needle, now the project is completed!!

AND... it's very easy stringing to use without any fraying, etc. The price is a bit higher than I'd prefer. However, the secure stringing that will endure absolutely guides my decision to purchase this (ps: I would do more stringing if these were less expensive)
