Tested out the pearl/bead string mould on my dummy cake. Used wilton fondant and worked great. My advice is to not overfill the mold, make sure to scrape off extra fondant before taking out of the mould. Flip the mould upside down and gently remove your fondant from the mould.

Worked great with fondant. I only used it to make pearl necklaces so far. I added a little crisco to the mold and the fondant popped out with no problems and looked great.

I was looking to add a pretty decoration around the bottom of each layer of a three-tiered wedding cake. This mold did the trick! It was so easy to use and made such a pretty border around the cake. I wish I would have had this sooner in my baking career!
