This 2 Pack of Power Inverters for R-yobi 18V batteries are easy to use, charge various electronics, are light weight and provide AC power adequately.Does not come with the 18V batteries however no issues charging various USB devices during testing and the AC power outlet works properly with a 65W laptop charger however anything over 85W seems to struggle and could create problems with sensitive equipment.Battery life and effectiveness will depend on condition of the 18V batteries which are not included.2 Pack of Power Inverters for R-yobi batteries that are convenient, functional, light weight and reliable.

I tried this out with something low powered to start, an 8W LED lamp, figuring I'd test how long I can get off a single charge through the 120V inverter. However I ran into problems almost immediately, as the light would occasionally flicker. As the battery got down to about 40% or so, the flickering became almost constant. So two things: First, the stability of the power waveform is really bad if it's able to get picked up by something as simple as an LED lamp. Second, I was running this at almost the lightest conceivable load and it still had this problem. Maybe I have a defective unit, but I certainly wouldn't plug in any valuable electronics, as it's a huge risk of frying sensitive circuitry.

We'll see how well they work when I actually need them a year from now, but shocker, for the price these really seem to do what they're advertised to do. Tried both with AC and USB loads, and the light is nice to have. Sort of cheesy that they pretend to be Ryobi, but of the price they're great to have around as another use for all the Ryobi batteries I have.

Got the ryobi 18v version. Only works with my newest High Performance batteries. Won't even turn on if it's on my standard ryobi lithium batteries of earlier manufacture.

Fit and finish are good. Light is tiny and about useless. It is very loud. Like annoying quad rotor camera drone loud. Sounds like a giant mozzy from across the room. Runs a light bulb fine. I would not plug anything sensitive into this. Box fan absolutely howled when plugged into this thing. Can't imagine what it would do to a phone, tablet or laptop.
