I was unclear when ordering this if “2 pieces” meant one heatsink and one thermal pad, but it means two whole sets. (The thermal/adhesive is pre-attached to the heatsink.)I have a small PoE switch that runs uncomfortably hot; hot enough to cause pain if I touch it. This gives a lot more surface area for heat dissipation.

My swither was running hot. But adding this heat sink on the bottom of unit dispersed the heat bt at least 70 %. Highly recomment this.

These aren't great. They're too large to fit inside any electronic device, and too thin to do much good when they're stuck to the outside - they need taller fins. Plus the adhesive isn't very strong - I pulled one off the outside of a metal enclosure using just my fingers, and yes, I had cleaned the area with alcohol first.

As described. Purchased a power color Red Devil 6950xt. Saw a review where there are no thermal pads under the back plate. There is no memory under the back plate but I decided to put thermal pads on the back side of the memory on the front ,the power section ,and the back side of the GPU . It took around 4-5 mm of gelid extreme to fill in the GPU "hole" in the back plate and get it to protrude out of the back plate. removed film from one heatsink . Centered it on the GPU and pressed down firmly while supporting my.card . After playing star citizen,battlefront2 and control .You couldn't touch the heat sink . Found a old 80mm pwm fan ,set a curve and all's good . it does really seem to be cooler ,but with that heatsink k getting that hot ,its.doing something good.
