These are absolutely perfect for tall candles. Milk bottle candles to be precise. I had a lot of slack in the wick and as the candle would burn down the flame would end up towards the side. The way these hold the wick tight has eliminated that problem completely.

I thought these would work better than the wood stick ones but I was wrong. The still slide all over the top of the jar. I'm not sure how to get them to stay in place. Otherwise there are fine.

This is pretty to look at, although as others have stated, it is small. It’s too light weight to trust it not to topple over so I’m using LED candles to be safe. Probably wouldn’t buy it had I seen it in a store.
