I got these gift boxes intending to use them for my son's Minecraft-themed birthday party, although as soon as he saw the Amazon listing he said he wanted to use them as building blocks instead. I think that they could be used for either use, however I don't think they're sturdy enough for too much repeated play. If you were going to keep these in your playroom, they would take up a fair amount of space unless you disassemble them each time. However, while they are decently sturdy and fast to assemble and disassemble, they actually do close fairly tightly, and I think if you tried to assemble and disassemble them 5-10 times, you'd inevitably rip them.One small nitpick, after watching the product video I assumed adhesive dots would be included in order to assemble some of the kinds of structures they show in the product video and pictures, but there were none included. And, some of the product photos must be two sets' worth of boxes, as there are only 3 of each pattern in the set, but the pictures show up to 6 of one pattern.

We got these for our son's upcoming birthday party. I wasn't expecting much since they are for party favors, but when they came I was impressed with the quality of the paper. They are nice and glossy on the exterior, making them more durable that I expected. We were able to fill them with some gamer key chains, slime, and little Minecraft figurines. They turned out well and I think they'll be a hit at the party. :)
