I'm glad I got this set as it's got good content, and particularly for polishing resin - just make sure you keep those pieces well away from any kind of grit so that they don't scratch.For sanding though, there are some big problems. Firstly, even at the lowest rotation speed on the Dremel, the sanding disc and sponge just fly off, so you actually have to do the sanding without the sponge or use the manual handle. The manual handle is excellent though, and using it is preferable to using the Dremel anyway when you're using the finer grits where you want to maximise how long they last - it takes remarkably little work to do each stage of sanding.However, the main problem is that those finer grit discs wear out ridiculously fast, and replacement ones are also ruinously expensive, to the point that they're completely impractical. I'm going to try to find something better for this that's affordable, which probably means cutting out discs from larger sheets and gluing them to worn out velcro discs with a glue that only holds lightly so that they can be removed and replaced repeatedly. (Double-sided sticky tape may be the solution for that.) I do like the manual handle though, which is why it may be worth going to that trouble. I may return to edit this later once I've found a solution. So far I've been pointed to Micro-Mesh as being more robust, but I have yet to test it.This kit is a good starting point though regardless. If I was putting a kit like this together though, I'd have far fewer discs for the course grit as they'll last for ages, and far more discs for the fine grit, and especially the finest ones. The difference in wear-out rate is so big that you might only need one of each of the course ones, given that the main point of the kit is to get an exceptionally smooth surface and to polish it to perfection - the fine grit ones are the most important ones, and you could easily use up all 20 of the 10,000 grit ones on a single small piece of resin.

All you need to take various materials from a rough finish to a high polish, all contained in a handy storage box. Everything contained in the box is good quality and I'm particularly impressed with the higher grit sanding discs. Great value when compared to buying individual products. Used so far on wood, resin and silver and worked perfectly on them all when used with a pendant drill. I expect the set will be equally good with a smaller rotary tool.
