Used for woodworking with power tools that generate a lot of sawdust. It works very well. I have already purchased replacements for when these ones are too spent to be effective.

I’m a big fan of the 3M respirators. I use the organic filters for fumes and these cheaper ones for dust.If you’re considering buying a respirator then your search is over. Just do it for you.Worth every penny for the respirators or any of their filters. Comfortable enough to focus on the job instead of the unit, and very effective. Not easy to impress, a bit cynical, but these rock.

I'm a guy with many hobbies, including painting, woodworking, metalworking, home remodeling projects, and more. And having both asthma and allergies, I take my PPE seriously! One of my most essential items in my garage is my 3M mask. My go-to filter (including the one that came with the mask) are the 2096 or 2097 P100 respirator filters. The 2096/97 filters are phenomenal filters, and work great for organic vapors, strong fumes, and fine dust and particles, including cement dust, drywall dust, mold, and chemicals around the house like bleach. The 2096/97 filters are great, but they were a bit overkill for woodworking. After frequent use and long wear time, they become a little hard to breath through.I did some light research and reading, and decided to give these 2071 filters a try for something that would be a little easier to breath through. I really love them for woodworking! They protect me from dust all the while aren't complete overkill for such work. They're much easier to breath through. Honestly the most breathable filters I've used with my 3M masks. I've used them both for dumping out my HEPA filter vacuum contents as well as cutting up trees with a chainsaw. I'm allergic to sawdust and trees, and these have done an adequate job in protecting me.The limitation of these filters are in the "fumes" department. I was using a slot cutter on my router last week to make a slot for adding a window to a door I was building. The slot cutter unexpectedly burned through the wood instead of cutting. It make an enormous amount of strong, smoky fumes in the process (my garage will filled with smoke!). This mask filter did *not* hold up for that well. The fumes easily penetrated the filters and hit my nose and lungs. I quickly switched to one of my other filters. For very strong odors, fumes, painting, and staining, I use the 3M 60923 acid gas cartridge filters (highly recommend them by the way, nothing gets through those things!).For lighter-duty work, woodworking, dust around the house, I think these are perfect. It's about using the right mask for the right application. Anything involving strong fumes or toxic odors these aren't the right filters for. Additionally things like dealing with mold and super fine dust (like cutting and sanding MDF which contains formaldehyde), I would go with a higher rated mask like an n100 like the masks I suggested earlier. i recommend reading and checking out the 3M website for more info.

Muy prácticos y un poco más económicos que en otros lados.
