——-UPDATE : Within the 2 months that I’ve had them, ALL the wires BROKE!! Ive changes them on BOTH pairs of boots!!I love the principle, but so far, 4 of the wires have snapped! And I dont tighten them a lot, just enough, but they still snapped 😔And there should be a sticker or some glue to hold the dial part to the boot/shoe itself so it doesnt always “flip” upside down when you try to tighten it.I glued my son’s (you can see a white circle around the dial part), but mine are not because the material of the boot itself is too flimsy.

Why would you sell a product that you have to use other manufacturers instructions from. What a joke.Spend the extra and buy a reputable product that you can actually use

This is two pairs of no tie, ratcheting laces. It’s a copy of the BOA system, but some of the hardware is slightly different. No instructions are included, and online videos only show how to change the wire of a true BOA system. To install this, here some instructions. There is the wire, and a black “base” of the system (it’s the largest piece). There’s the black “buckle” that you spin and a yellow spool that holds the wire.1. Estimate where you will need to glue the “base” of the system to the tongue of your shoe. See my photos. The base is labelled “up” and “down” in Chinese. The orientation is important. Notice that there are gaps at the 10 and 2 o’clock position.2. Thread the wire through your shoe like normal laces.3. Look at the buckle. There are two “ears” that fit in the 10 and 2 o’clock position in the base. Thread one wire through the ear.4. Look at the yellow spool. There are two holes in each side. Thread the wire through the hole closest to the centre, then through the hole beside it in the other direction and pull it tight. Trim the excess. See my photo. Repeat threading the ear and spool for the other side.5. Put the spool into the buckle. While holding the spool so it doesn’t fall out, turn the buckle clockwise to make sure it ratchets. To loosen it, pull the buckle out.6. If it works well, snap the buckle into the base.7. Glue the base to the tongue.I find that the quality of the plastic and the wire thickness is not as good as the true BOA system and the base is difficult to glue to most soft, flexible tongues, so there’s a chance it can come off. Therefore, it’s fine and shoes and skates but I wouldn’t use it for ski boots, where you will be stuck on the side of a mountain if it breaks.

It's a little tricky to get it right first but once you watched a few tutorials on YouTube (look up boa laces installation) it's pretty straight forward.Love how they make my snowboots a lot easier to put on and take off
