Not stainless steel, some sort of cheap metal, almost looks chrome plated. Also, the inside of the straws were dirty, there were small black specs, no idea what that was. Returned

I bought both the 30oz and 40oz straws to use with my same size Rtic tumblers. As you can see from the photos, the 40oz (12.2") straw is little too long for the 40oz Rtic tumbler. The Rtic 40oz tumbler is 9.13" tall while the 30oz is 8.35".I love the tips for the bottom of the straw. I don't have one yet but the latest Rtic tumbler has a ceramic coating and metal straws are not recommended.I like the safety of straight straw with the bent silicone tip. It should help avoid any mishaps if something bumps you tumbler and it's pushed toward your mouth.One review commented on the seam in the silicone tip. While it is noticeable, I don't feel it's significant enough to cause irritation.I was too lazy to measure my tumblers before ordering so it's not fair to rate the product less than 5 stars...

The item is just as described. The straws are easy to clean especially with the provided brush. The plastic bottom attachment is great too. It keeps the steel straw from scratching the cup bottom. I love them!
