I got this HDFury Arcana to send Dolby Atmos to a Sonos Arc from an UHD Player and an Apple TV. My TV (Vizio PX65-G1) wasn’t sending an Atmos signal to the Arc, and after some research, I found that it didn’t have enough eARC support. This little device solved that. It was relatively simple to set up, and after some tinkering (thanks youtube) it’s now working perfectly, without the blue info text on the screen. Can confirm it supports 4K HDR Dolby Vision and Atmos. It’s fantastic. Vision and Atmos films play perfectly through it, and it lets me take full advantage of the Sonos Arc and Era 100s.The only issue is it has only one input. That’s easily solved with a switcher, so I picked up a UGreen HDMI 2.1 8K switcher to go with it.Pairing the switcher with this HDFury has enabled me to enjoy full Dolby Atmos without the need to purchase a new eARC TV. I wholeheartedly recommend this for that upgrade. I dedicated considerable time researching the reasons behind my inability to access Atmos through my existing setup. If you are trying to resolve a similar issue, I hope this review saves you that time!

I have used a hdfury vertex in the past before Sonos finally added support for DTS to the playbar, it was necessary to use the vertex with my Sony TV otherwise I would get silence when playing something with a DTS audio track.I have a Philips Picomax projector, and in order to get sound to my Sonos beams, I have to use a dummy audio cable to silence the internal speaker on the projector, and I then use the arcana in “beam” mode which is fed from a NVIDIA shield, the HDMI output goes to the projector and the ARC output from the arcana goes to the beam, the arcana presents itself as a ARC “TV” and the beam then plays the audio!Perfect!No problems for my gen 1 beam. One thing you must do is that if you change audio settings on your source, then you should cycle the audio on all the parts of the system (in my case I restart the shield and the beam) so that everybody gets to negotiate what sound formats are available, if I change any audio settings on the shield I restart both thr shield and the beam EVERY TIME. If you don’t do this, you might start fiddling with audio and then find that you’re getting stereo PCM output when playing something you know everything in thr chain can play correctly.Been there, got the t shirt many times over, so now I just restart everything and I don’t have any issues.The arcana is working absolutely spot on for me, I can’t comment on its eARC abilities since I don’t have eARC, but its ability to appear as an ARC TV to the beam now means I get great sound on the projector.It’s not a cheap device (although much cheaper than the other vertex) but without it my sound options are much more limited since I then have to use optical audio which severely limits the supported formats.If you’re looking to use this with a Sonos beam, I can recommended it.

Hatte vorher einen umwandler für 170€ die hat nicht funktioniert kam kein Sound raus. Diese ist teurer aber super klang. (Philips TV mit ARC an Devialet Dione) von ARC auf EARC ist ein super Unterschied der Sound ist sehr krass und lauter auch. Selbst alte Lieder die man kennt hören sich viel besser an durch die Box und die Devialet. Lautstärke kann man über die tv Fernbedienung lauter machen wie gewohnt die Box macht alles mit keine Probleme.

En mi caso tengo un proyector 4k y barra dolby atmos. Con hd fury puedo disfrutar de la máxima calidad de sonido.Atención: no sirve solo con proyector, necesitarás una fuente que envíe la señal hacia el proyector (consola Xbox, PlayStation, Apple TV, Android TV etc.)La fuente que dispone de calidad atmos pasa por hd fury, lo decodifica y lo envía a la barra de sonido (dolby atmos) y al proyector (dolby visión).Si sólo disponéis de proyector, este por sí solo no es capaz de sacar esa calidad de sonido y por mucho que conectes hd fury no funcionará.

Merci aux personnes qui ont créés ce produit !Mon installation est la suivante :TV LG 55UJ634V, 4k, HDR avec port ARC mais pas de eArc (TV de 2017)Apple TV 4k branchée sur une Hdmi SyncBox.Et la Sonos Arc pour le son.Le HD Fury arcana vient parfaire cette installation, je l'ai branché entre la sortie de la Syncbox (qui fait office de switcher Hdmi) et la TV.Après quelques (pas mal en réalité) réglages et le changement des mes câbles Hdmi qui ne supportaient pas le flux (coupures intempestives de l'images pendant quelques secondes). J'arrive enfin à une installation stable !Le produit est assez simple, léger, une interface en anglais (uniquement), il fait son job à la perfection !Et projette un message de log sur le bas de l'écran TV super pratique pour visualiser les caractéristiques des flux qui passent par le boitier. (Ce message est désactivable via les réglages).Je recommande ce produit ! Bien que le prix, pique un peu !
