Screws & clips are 304 s/s, or 8/18 same thing. This is what was important to me.Screw length is just enough to accomplish adequate strength.

We live on a farm and have horses. Our pastures are surrounded by high tensile wire on wooden posts. I’ve found that using heavy fence staples to attach the wire can sometimes be difficult to drive into the post while trying to hold both the staple and the wire and frequently results in a smashed finger. I like these because you can just loop them over the wire and using a drill put a screw in to hold it. The reason I deducted a star is that I don’t believe the included screws are large enough. Sometimes our horses will stick their heads through the fence and when pulling it back they tend to lift their heads. An eight hundred pound horse is extremely powerful and I think they could easily pull those little screws out. I did find however that the holes in the clips were big enough for larger screws. I do like that they are made of stainless steel so they should last a long time.

I used these to hold up a small cable between fence posts and it worked fine. They have not broken or bent. They screwed in ok with a pilot hole to get them started. These are working ok so far.

I've never mastered the art of driving those u-shaped staples with a hammer. I know one side is longer, and you tap that side in first, but still I can't keep them from going sideways or popping loose. And I've hit my thumb too many times to mention.Anyway these clamps go in with a screw, so my portable drill does all the work. The clamps are stainless steel, and sized for 14-16 gauge fencing, and should last as long as the fencing and posts. The screws? The description doesn't say whether they're stainless, they're not self-tapping, and they're only 1/2" long. Depending on the application I could see substituting for better ones.Very happy with these clamps and will be ordering more.

These wire clamps are excellent and the pricing is also great. There are so many clamps for sure which are great and the material is also very good. They are not flimsy and they seem to be durable. I know they are used for fencing, but I used them to organize some of my cables, so that they could be closer to the wall without dangling around tripping me up. To be fair they are pretty good!
