Motor was defective right out of the box and did not work

I didn’t realize this was a cap-start motor and had the capacitor blow over the weekend. It will be an easy fix and have already ordered the new caps. Other than it works great. P.s. cap start motor don’t like like the capacitors sometimes due to faulty manufacturing so as of right now it get 4 stars.

My air compressor works again!

After opening the package I noticed that the motor had been installed before( markings on terminal box where power cord was previously installed) then I looked inside the back of the motor and the start winding was burnt! One star only because they won't allow no star or negative star.

Installed on 60 gallon air compressor, works well. Mounting was a little different, so needed different fasteners, but it seems to work well. Saved my air compressor, anyway.
