Is a decent chain and the cloth covering is a plus for my need. The 6 ft chain is a plus for me as I use it to secure my e-bike when shopping or out and about. It is a thing chain and if give them enough time someone would and will get through it. For the price and the reason that I purchased it it is an a+ in my book..

I used these to help decorate for my son's 14th birthday party. He is on a travel ball team, so the theme was baseball. We have a wiffle ball field at home, so he had about 25 boys over to play ball and I used these lanterns to hang on the banners we had circling the field. They looked great and were so easy to use! The went up really fast. I did not use the lights since it was a daytime party. I also did not use the grass squares since I hung them instead of using them on a tabletop. Since they are reusable, I saved all the pieces so that I can use them again for other occasions. These were the perfect accent decorations and really helped lend a festive air to the party. I would totally recommend them!

After 2 years of outdoor use (for my BBQ), it's still in perfect condition. Even if it's possible to get through every type of chain, it would be difficult to get through this one without someone noticing. Highly recommended.

The thickness of this chain makes it much more portable than the 12ks model. Chain links are thick enough on the 6ks. On the 12ks the chain links are too thick and the chain is very very heavy. Not so with the 6ks which is so much lighter.

I see some reviews complaining that it is heavy, but isn't that the reason this chain would be effective? That being so I wouldn't recommend this as a bike chain you carry around, you would be better off with a more portable one that mounts to the frame. However this seems like a good option for storage of bikes in the bike locker room or if you needed to chain something up like a gate, BBQ, I would even use this on my motorcycle. The heavy duty cloth jacket seem quite sturdy and protects you items from being scratched. I own several Abus products they are all really well made, nothing feels cheap.
