I bought this to replace another MP3 player (AGPtek) that I've had for years but found difficult to use esp the shuffle function, which never seemed to work properly -- some songs you would hear over and over and some you never heard. The Yottix (couldn't they have come up with a better name!!) is easy to use and controls very intuitive -- but I did read the instruction's. My laptop immediately recognized the player and I downloaded about 2,400 songs, but it took about an hour. I'll never fill this player given how much memory it holds -- I may try downloading some ebooks and listen to them on some of our long road trips. The ear buds are OK but nothing to brag about, I may get some better ones later on. One of the best features on this player is its shuttle function -- it seems to really work well and I have not heard it repeat a song yet -- but I've only listed actively two hours.To test the battery, after downloading my complete music library (minus my Christmas music) I've had the player on for about 16 hours continuously and if the battery icon is correct, I haven't even used 20% of the battery so far (see pic). Will this thing really play for two days or more without needing a charge?? That's unbelievable. The only thing I wish they would change is get rid of whatever the thing is on the screen when a song is playing and include more information about what song is playing, like the complete title and artist. For some artists, however, it does show a picture of the singer (see pic) but I guess it all depends on what was captured on my initial PC download. But for $35 this little MP3 player is a real gem. It seems well make -- its actually quite heavy), the controls are intuitive, it has a great battery (so far), and with 64 GB of storage I'll never ever fill it up. Couldn't be more happy with it. And it came complete with a clear easy to read user manual, ear buds (and two pairs of different sized rubber buds), and a USB-C connection cable for charging and hooking up to a PC for downloading music. And it worked perfectly right out of the box.

Loaded a few songs and immediately returned it when I realized I couldn't quick search through songs. I like being able to skip from "A" songs to "E" songs without having to scroll through EVERY. SINGLE. SONG. to get there. Guess my buggy IPod will be sticking around for a while longer.

Although it supports video, it doesn't recognize MP4s. So if you've got a lot of music in MP4 format, you'll have to convert those to another format like MP3 (which you can do in a program like VLC). As for the physical device, it's got that shiny and slick coating to it that gets very visible fingerprints on it. Other than those two minor flaws, this thing will do exactly what's advertised. Make sure you use the provided cable to transfer files, or you might not get the prompt to enable file transferring between your PC and this device. You can also plug in any 3.5mm headphones or earplugs to play the audio, not just the provided earplugs. I can't speak for the Bluetooth functionality since I don't have a pair of headphones that connects that way. If anyone was wondering, in terms of functions, what you see is what you get: you can't add any apps to this. So don't expect to be able to install whatever app you use to listen to music.Basically, it's a good MP3 player if you were looking for one you can plug in headphones to.

This MP3 player is exactly what I was looking for! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and delivers great sound quality for the price. The battery life is outstanding—I can listen to hours of music without worrying about recharging, which makes it perfect for long commutes or workouts. The expandable storage is a game-changer, allowing me to carry my entire music library everywhere. The Bluetooth feature is also a great bonus and works seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Easy to transfer my MP3/WAV files from my computer to the device ... easy to create folders for specialized song sets (I suggest you don't go the route of playlists ... though I havent tried it ... instead, if you want a set of a specific genre/artist, then create a separate folder for that genre/artist). It works awesome, and you can play randomly from a specific folder if you want things narrowed, I have loaded over 6 gigs of songs on this thing and it is functioning awesomely!). The bluetooth connection to my main home stereo system was also super easy to pair ... it is running the tunes on my home stereo awesomely! This thing is exactly what I needed to replace the MP3 player I bought over 15 years ago (whose battery has died to the point of where you charge it for 16 hours to just get 1 hour of play time) .... This thing is awesome if all you are looking for is a music player (my case). And it has the added benefit of easy connection to bluetooth devices.
