These hinges are better than the factory hinges that were part of the original equipment. The hinges are made of metal, not plastic, so the metal won't degrade like the plastic did. I took my vehicle to a window place to have them installed. The window place took out the old ones and installed the new ones in less than an hour and didn't damage the glass. For the price of the hinges, the sturdiness, and quick delivery, it was all worth it.

One of my liftgate hinges snapped on my 2006 Ford Escape after the bolt had severely corroded. Buying replacements from the auto part store was going to run me $65, so I took a chance with this set. They fit perfectly, felt even sturdier than the original ones, I replaced both hinges in around 30 minutes while having no prior experience. It was super simple and they were exactly what I needed.

Was hand tightening it and the bolt split on the hinge. Other than that looks pretty similar to oem and easy to install. Just bad luck with that bolt.

Product arrived on time, securely packaged. Installed on my 2010 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Limited. Hinges appear to be equal to the OEM part. Hinges fit exactly with all required hardware.
