I ordered these little guys to cover pendant sockets on our private rooftop lounge area during impending rain or inclement weather. They did the trick, are well made, and actually appreciate the quantity (6x) and value (quite affordable).

We used these socket plugs to shorten the length of our patio string lights. They worked perfectly, and fit the E26 sockets nicely. Now those sockets are sealed up and protected from the weather. They’re well-made, and provide a clean look. Recommended!

These fit E26 bulb base just as described. "Outdoor string lights" come is all different types - there is no "standard". As long you read the product description carefully and know what type of bulb socket you have, you will have no issues with this product. I didn't need the full length of my string of patio lights and previously had them covered with electrical tape. Using these socket covers is much more secure and safer. Great product!

When they fit they work great but if found some in the package were a thread or two too short to stay in the socket.
