Now I can mount my Speedlights on a variety of different stands. Allows outside off camera lighting options for creative photo shoots. Much less expensive than outdoor strobes.

These aluminum cold shoe and hot shoe adapters are well constructed. The cold shoes have spring-loaded adjusters to allow them to fit a variety of different size mounts. The shoes have standard female 1/4-20 threaded holes that run completely through the adapter which allows for even more adaptability. The hot shoe adapters have 1/4-20 male threads allowing them to fit standard hot shoes.I purchased this set of eight items to allow attachment of external lights or microphones to gimbals. I made a few small 1/4-20 stainless steel threaded rods to connect the cold shoes to the gimbals, which come with 1/4-20 extension screw holes. I use the threaded thumb wheel locks which come with the hotshoe adapters to tighten every thing down. Works great.I would recommend these to anyone looking for more versatility with their camera equipment.

Bought the cold-shoe adapters to attach 2 speedlights to light stands. These fasten nice and snug. If for some reason you need to tighten more than hand-tight, a dime fits in the fastener head. Great price, especially if I end up adding a monitor and need a flash stand adapter.
