I am very pleased with this release switch. It has held up well for over a year and the quality is on par with OEM for much less cost. I installed it on my 997.1 with no issues.

Not all of these rear hood and decklid release switches for Porsches are the same. The first one was purchased from another company, and the connector pins were too large to fit into the female receptacle connector on the vehicle side.

Did the job well. I needed to expand it a lot, using a socket and extension with rubber mallet, to get the lower 56mm cup handled. If you capable of are doing a zero stack headset yourself, adjusting the tool to do this will not be a challenge. Strong, and I like the metal top cap compared to the plastic on most. Made for occasional use so a great deal compared to bike shop quality tools.
