This perfectly restored all the capacity of my 16 inch macbook pro 2019's battery. It registers perfectly in macos, and read as 0 cycle counts when I installed it. Included tools is nice, though I elected to have it installed professionally. The technician did complain about the quality of the adhesive however - it did not stick properly to the aluminum of the macbook. Unfortunately this means the battery rattles in the macbook, which isn't a huge problem but not ideal. Overall I am happy with this battery.

I was a little hesitant to undertake this project, but I managed to get through it in a reasonable amount of time. I will say that I am really glad I did this because the computer was completely clogged with dust. So much so that I went out to get a can of compressed air to completely overhaul it.Back to the battery the instructions are so well done. I feel like I just had a really good grasp of what was happening. Even when I missed a single screw is easy to go back and figure out which step that I missed and luckily it didn’t cause too many problems. Once installation was completed I had no issues booting up the computer., it also recognized that the battery was new and I’m on my first cycle.So some additional feedback I would do before you get this: just go out and get a can of compressed air you’ll thank me in advance and it did ask for some alcohol drops to get the adhesive strips for the old battery off. I did not have these so I had the muscle them out, but I did get them out without any additional liquids.Super excited about extending the life of my MacBook and now I won’t have to worry about the battery dying on the next flight I’m on.

Bringing Macbooks back to life is one of my hobbies. Any battery, no matter the quality will eventually lose its integrity, shorten the lifespan of the battery or use the laptop from the mains electric source, which defeats the purpose of having a portable computer.Therefore, you have to pay for an expensive battery repair, or its time for a new Mac, and many people do indeed upgrade for a new Macbook. However, with this product, replacing the battery is a straight forward project as the pack gives you everything needed.Apple products are proprietary, right down to the screws, hence this product providing all the necessary screw drivers and tools. Watching a video can also be helpful if you havent done a battery change. Using the plastic tools I can prise the mac apart with the tool provided after removing all screws. After opening the Mac I replaced the battery by unclipping it from the main board and resealing the plastic casing.Once done, I charge the battery, and after a few hours I then turn on the Mac, check the battery power charging percentage is above 75%, I then leave the Mac on and use it normally and take satisfaction that I have brought another Mac back from the ashes.Recommended.

Item received in good condition and well packaged. This set of batteries is for replacement on Mac Books as listed in the item description so check to make sure it is correct for your model number.I have swapped out laptop batteries a few times over the years and its always one of those things that I am always a little bit nervous about as you want to get it right and not make any errors. What I like to do is lay out all the items and have a good read through the instruction that were well written and pretty clear on how to do this.What I really like is the step by step video guide that is available and working alongside the video is the perfect step by step guide.It comes with all the items and tools that you require as some of the screw heads are very specific and not standard ones that most people would have. They are cheap quality tools but I guess they are only needed for this one task.A few parts of doing the change out are a little trickier but with a steady hand and patience its not too difficult.When swapped out the MacBook worked perfectly again. In fact better because we now had a battery that lasted much better once more like when brand new, No issues with the battery over heating or rattling about etc, the mac book is just like new again.The battery offers good value for money as Apple wanted lots more for the battery replacement and we would be without for several days too where as this way it was changed out in an hour.

Excellent kit and contains everything needed to perform the swap out of the battery. It's not quite as simple as swapping the AA batteries in your remote control, so do take advantage of the resources offered and take your time. I've swapped out batteries on phones for ages and found the activity to be straightforward but I did make sure I took my time and followed the directions. the result was a better charge and health than before, as you would expect, but can't really advise on the quality and lifespan of this item. Overall a great value replacement for the OEM battery.
