I teach high school chemistry, and I use these as electrons when talking about bonds. They're perfect because there are 6 sets of 7 and 1 set of 8. Though, I would have preferred the white set being red since white doesn't show up on the white board that well. Anyway, they're wonderful for explaining how valence electrons behave in ionic and covalent bonds, particularly covalent. 7 is significant because I can use one color per atom. Atoms bonding have 1-7 valence electrons. It's perfect! Way better than drawing dots with whiteboard markers because I can physically move the "electrons" when using these magnets.

Bright, cheerful colors. I used it for the class behavior chart. I wrote student numbers of them with a permanent marker.

These magnets come in a variety of bright colors. They aren't good at holding heavier objects like big posters, but they can keep up large pieces of papers and small posters (a couple feet long) with little difficulty. While not the strongest magnets, they're decent for what they cost.
