other than pulling wheel studs into place on wheel hubs, I bought them for pressing in king pin bushings or smaller brass bushings as well

Purchased new rear axles for my 2002 Suburban which required installing 6 studs on each axle hub (12 studs total). Used the ABN wheel stud installer for trucks which provided more clearance around the stud than the car tool. Clamped the axle in a vice, placed the stud in the hole and thru the installer tool then used an impact wrench to pull the stud into the hole. Patience is the key as it takes some force to get those studs to mate flush. Tools got very hot, so I cycled the installation with on/off periods to allow tools to cool some. Smooth install. All studs are flush and no stripped studs.
