I got these clips to repair one set where the hinge had broken. Buying a box of them is much cheaper than buying them individually. I was able to quickly repair my broken clip and now I have a bunch of spares. I think I might make a couple of extra sets of clips just so that I have them.

These alligator clips are of good quality. Their jaws are well aligned and tight. The insulating boots are ok.

Like most electrical engineers, I have a workbench at home with various items, including homemade test leads. Many years ago I had purchased some small alligator clips but their quality was sub par. The 'teeth' didn't align well and the insulating boot was slippery, making it very difficult to open the jaws.Fortunately, these alligator clips don't suffer from those problems. Easy to use, good spring tension, and reasonable teeth alignment.

These are usable but not outstanding little electronic alligator clips. For occasional hobbyist use in my application they're fine. They solder well and have acceptable action. They're far from the finest alligator clips I've ever used, but they'll do for my simple needs. Made in China.
